The rain chance arc shows the precipitation chance for the next 10 hours, it shows 10 segments that can have different colors depending on the rain chance. Each segment represents 1 hour more than the previous segment., the first bottom segment represents the precipation chance for the next hour, the second segment the precipitation chance for 2 hours ahead. The third segment the rain chance for 3 hours ahead, etc.
Each segment can have 6 different colors depending on the precipitation chance, see the image above.
Automatic color change based on current temperature
The foreground color setting sets the main static color of some elements of the wathface, but there is an option that makes the foreground color to be variable.
If you select the «Based on current temperature» option, the foreground color will change throughout the day depending on the next temperature ranges:
This option don’t avoid that you can select your own customized color for other elements of the watchface, like the info line.
Data pagination
The «Data pagination» setting allows to display different data that will change by making the watch the time gesture or doing a long press on the pagination area (just CIQ 4.2.0 devices or above). The data pagination only works on the top area.
Once the «Data pagination» option is selected you have to select the data/information that will be changed on every «watch the time» gesture:
Some examples:
If you select the «Pagination: 3-day forecast» and the «Pagination: 3-hour forecast» options then on every gesture these data will be displayed:
- «Pagination: 3-day forecast«- «Pagination: 3-hour forecast«- «Pagination:Current conditions»: it will change between the daily forecast, hourly forecast and the current conditions.
- «Pagination: Heart rate» – «Pagination: 3-day forecast:
Heart rate graph
A heart rate graph can be showed over the weather forecast or over the data fields position, the amount of values showed is device dependant and resolution dependant, the graph never updates every second, but every minute with the values of the last 40-50 minutes aprox.
The «Heart rate: live» option, just updates the current heart rate value, not the graph. Since it would consume too much battery.
Time color change
The color of the hour and minutes can be changed by disabling the «Colon for time» option:
The hour will be painted with the foreground color while the minutes will remain white.
Location shows: ¿?
The location is calculated by Garmin, the Tempestas watch face just prints the location provided by Garmin, there are some cases which Garmin does not provide any name for the location of the watch, it can happen even inside a big city like London and other cities of the world, in this cases the watch face will show these symbols: ¿?. The fact of be a premium user does not fix this problem, please, keep this in mind before going premium.
Sleep mode
The «sleep mode» option, will remove all the information from the watch face except the time, this way during the sleep time a substantial amount of battery will be saved :
The hours to activate the sleep mode are taken from your garmin connect profile, so you will have to set the sleep time in order to get this option working properly.
